  • The Samsung SGH-T659 has surfaced on the FCC. It´s rumored to arrive on T-Mobile sometime from July 15 to August 19 and its FCC profile now confirms it supports carrier’s AWS 3G band. There are no external photos, but we guess we’ll soon know what it looks like.

  • Sprint’s BlackBerry Curve 8350i and 8330 are soon to get new color versions. BerryReview informs that the carrier is about to soft-launch the 8330 in “inferno orange” on July 9 and the 8350i in red on July 30. What we have to say is… when was the Tour coming out again?

  • The European Commission will not require a tax for phones, equipped with GPS and/or mobile TV, because of the current economic environment. In December, the Commission wanted to establish a 14% tax on phones with mobile TV and 3.7% tax on phones with GPS, but manufacturers opposed to that, because it would have hampered their sales of such handsets.
