V-MODA's VAMP VERZA brings a Hi-Fi amplifier & battery pack to many of today's popular devices
In this day and age, it shouldn’t be a surprise to many people that audio quality has become a focal point with many of today’s popular smartphones. Some devices have cool audio centric features like support for Beats Audio, which provides for an inviting amount of aamplification, but some simply don’t try to do anything extensive. Well, if you regard yourself as a true audiophile, you’ll probably be drooling over what popular headphones maker, V-MODA, has to offer with its new VAMP VERZA Hi-Fi USB Audio Amplifier.

For hardcore Hi-Fi fanatics, there’s just so much power that the 3.5mm headset jacks on most smartphones can deliver, but with this portable Hi-Fi accessory, it’s surely to replace the traditional units that they’re accustomed to using at home or work. Featuring an integrated 150mW x 2 headphone amplifier, 2 DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converters), and a 2200mAh battery pack, the VAMP VERZA seems like the all-in-one solution. In fact, it’s gunning to provide impeccable and crystal clear audio quality with barely an ounce of distortion.

At first glance the VAMP VERZA unit itself is a beastly thing to carry along, as gigantic in size to many of today’s smartphone, but the beauty in it lies in the way it can be attached to V-MODA’s Metallo cases. Currently, pre-orders of it are available for the Samsung Galaxy S III – with limited quantities of the iPhone 5 are coming within the next two weeks. Also, V-MODA is planning to offer Metallo cases for many other popular smartphones, like the Note II, recently announced Galaxy S 4, and other select smartphones. Essentially, these metallic skeleton cases allow the VAMP VERZA to slide into its back surface – allowing users to carry the Hi-Fi amplifier anywhere they go.

Beyond its amplification prowess, the VAMP VERZA also doubles as a portable battery too, which allows it to charge up devices on the go. First and foremost, this is a specialized accessory that target Hi-Fi centric individuals, since the VAMP VERZA is priced at a staggering $598 through various retail outlets. Furthermore, the upcoming Metallo cases are going to be priced at $101 – so be prepared to fork over some serious dough if you’re downright adamant about this audio gear.
