U.K. retailer Phones 4U's unscientific survey shows, well, it shows a lot of interest in the
Samsung Galaxy S 4. According to Phones 4U, the number of pre-registrations for the just announced new Android flagship tallied a
40% increase over the number received for the
Samsung Galaxy S III after 48 hours. Chief Commercial Officer Scott Hooten said that the anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has been "
astounding," with the phone garnering the most pre-notification requests of any handset launched in 2013.
Phones 4U is predicting that the Samsung Galaxy S 4 could be the
top selling smartphone for the year which would be quite a feather in the cap for the Korean manufacturer. Could you have imagined something replacing the Apple iPhone in that capacity just a few years ago? Meanwhile, U.K. retailer EE has also been impressed at the amount of interest for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. Paul Jevons, Director of Products and Devices at EE, said that demand for information about the phone from businesses and consumers has almost reached "
fever-pitch levels".
