This nifty weather app for Android 7.0 has its own quick settings tile

Android 7.0 Nougat will introduce a revamped quick settings list – one that will allow for greater customization by officially enabling developers to extend their apps' reach into this menu as well.

One of the first instances of developers taking advantage of the new feature comes in the form of a weather app. It displays a handy tile in the quick settings list for easy access no matter where you are.
The app, named simply Weather Quick Settings Tile, has the material UI so well pinned down, it is practically indistinguishable from the rest of Nougat, which is great. It can display 14 different icons, accompanied by temperatures and a short verbal description of the current weather conditions. Double-tapping the tile opens the settings where you can change the units, turn the descriptions on and off and set the refresh rate interval. Tapping the tile once refreshes it instantly.

Since the app comes only as this quick settings tile, it cannot be used on Android versions older than 7.0 Nougat. If you are running the latest preview version of Android 7.0, you can download the app from the Google Play Store right now.
