Staples knocks $100 off any Windows 8 tablet this weekend
Those on the lookout for a deal may have found one with the right Windows 8 tablet at Staples. The office supply retailer is offering up a $100 discount on all Windows 8 tablets through May 27th.

That could net you a little over a 10% discount on a Microsoft Surface Pro 64GB, or a little over 20% on an Asus VivoTab Smart 10.1. The attractively priced Samsung ATIV Touch Screen Smart PC is already out of stock.

Also on the list is the Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx K3011 which features a 11.6-inch screen with an Intel Atom dual-core 1.8GHz CPU underneath. It is joined by Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet 2 which comes with a stylus to get work done on its 10.1-inch display. Both variations of the Surface Pro are present as well. The Acer W510, featuring a 10.1-inch screen.

Dell has a couple offerings with the Latitude 10 Penmera and Penfolds tablets to round things up. If you find the right tablet, that $100 coupon will make a right-sized discount for your shopping. This promotion does not count towards any Windows RT devices. The coupon is only available online or via phone order. Add coupon number 24232 during checkout.

I would. But i dont see the need to replace my current ultrabook yet. If 8 incher windows 8 tabs already existed i would have taken advantage of this offer.

Um yes why not? My pro was a great purchase and has been far more useful than any PC I've owned.

I would have if I was still looking at the surface pro. I never looked back at the purchase and it's worth it in my opinion.

Must be clear out inventory for the 2nd generation Win8 stuff. I was very excited about the Surface tablets but saw the limited function of RT and the ridiculous price of the Pro and was immediately turned off. I think I'll end up getting a third party Win 8 pro convertible at some point, just I'm not happy with the current batch.
