Sony Xperia ion in red headed to Europe

Sony Xperia ion in red headed to Europe
Life can be so unfair. Not only that the Sony Xperia ion is already available in several countries while AT&T is taking its sweet time, but users in some of those markets will be able to buy one in a pretty new color. A red version of the Sony Xperia ion has been spotted on the manufacturer's official web page, and we have to admit that it looks pretty hot, at least on photos.

The red Sony Xperia ion will be available across Europe in the near future, alongside its black counterpart. At the same time, the smartphone's LTE variant, which is headed to the U.S., is expected to launch in black only. We said "is expected" because we are not really sure what AT&T's plans are. Perhaps, the carrier will offer the Xperia ion in red after all, but is keeping the news as a surprise in order to make up for the long wait. Let us remind you that the smartphone was announced in the second week of January, which was almost 5 months ago.

Guess we will just have to wait and see. Chances are that the Sony Xperia ion will land on AT&T's shelves before this month is out. In the meantime, whoever wants a pretty red Xperia ion is free to let us know by dropping a comment.

Thought Sony might come back to the Cell phone business by Xperia Ion. But they prove that they are not for this level of Technology where consumers need latest technology in a decent price. Not a dated box with high price.

I wanted the Xperia Ion but after such a long wait time i've lost some interest in it. I honestly think that it was ready for release back in april but AT&T decide to postpone its release & now it will be outdated when it finally arrives. I'm thinking of upgrading to a smartphone for my birthday in september & the only phone I see is the GS3 but if the Ion impresses me enough I might go for that instead, if Sony were to release the Xperia GX in the US I would take that over both.
