Good specs and nice design, I have Xperia X.... it is a very nice smartphone ....I think I will get the Sony XZ . Most important step that let me move from Samsung to Sony is leaving glass and using aluminum. I think the only worthy OEMs in Android world is Sony & HTC

Then why HTC's and Sony's sale are way lower than Samsung's?

Samsung was one of the first players in Android world & people get used to use a Samsung ........ my first Android Smartphone was Samsung "Galaxy Mini". like the old Nokia story ..... it is not easy to change how ppl think about something .... the story now in many countries is iPhone vs Samsung ....but I think that going to change soon.

Finally something worth replacing my Sony Z5 Premium. My only real complaints with the Z5 Premium are camera stability and video recording quality. Sony seems to have addressed both. I am not sure about USB-c though. I know it supposedly has better transfer speed but since my relatively new 4K laptop does not have USB-C will I even get it. If only XZ had 5.5 inch or larger screen it would be a lock.

Well good news for you. If your laptop as USB 3.0 port you will be able to use the speed increase given by USB Type C.

I wish they would get some ground to create some competition. Sony was once the most advanced gadget manufacturer.
