Sony Xperia Tablet S gets Wi-Fi bug repaired thanks to update
Those rockin' the Sony Xperia Tablet S should have received a software update today that doesn't, we repeat, doesn't bring Android 4.1 to the slate. Sorry to break that news so early in the story, but you might as well know the truth now before we let you down in a later paragraph. No, it is the same Android 4.0.3 that the update is based on, which obviously means that the changelog points to some other fixes.

Release 5 will be repairing a problem that the tablet has had with Wi-Fi connectivity and also adds the Sony ScrapBook app to the tablet. The app allows you to keep cherished memories digitally as pictures are stored against a special backdrop. Obviously it is not Jelly Bean, but having a working Wi-Fi radio is important to users of the tablet, and the ScapBook app could come in handy for those who like to keep special memories alive.
