Samsung UK allegedly leaks the Galaxy S6 retail price, and it isn't pretty

While we are expecting the grand Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge announcement later today, Samsung UK has inadvertently posted the flagship's pricing scheme, and it is quite disturbing. While we though that the S6 will cost something in the realm of $650 without a contract, and $200 on contract, while the S6 Edge will probably run you a Benjamin, or even $150 more, the reality might be a bit different. 

As you can see, Samsung UK has put the S6 up at the whopping £699, which translates to about $1080 at the moment. We sincerely hope this is just a placeholder post, as the picture is not of the S6, if we compare it to the leaks so far. Alternatively, this might be the preorder pricing scheme only, which takes advantage of the early adopters' longing for those breathtaking specs.
