Samsung "Pride" to be the first smartphone to run Tizen 3.0 OS

Samsung might have finished working on Tizen 3.0, so it would make sense to start launching new devices powered by the new operating system. The first smartphone to ship with Tizen 3.0 OS right out of the box is known internally as Samsung “Pride.”

New reports claim Samsung plans to launch the Tizen 3.0 smartphone in the same markets where the Samsung Z2 is sold. There are no details about its specs, but we do know it goes by the model number SM-Z250F.

Source suggest that Samsung plans to market Pride's voice control functionality rather than the phone's hardware. Since the new Tizen 3.0 OS comes with support for such features, it makes sense for Samsung to advertise those features that makes its products stand out.

It's unclear when exactly the smartphone will be unveiled, but it will be initially introduced in countries like India, Bangladesh and Nigeria. Europeans will probably be able to buy Samsung's Tizen 3.0 smartphone in Russia only.

We doubt Samsung will bring any Tizen smartphones in the United States any time soon since these devices are aimed at emerging markets.
