A new video has surfaced that allegedly shows screen protectors for the Samsung Galaxy S8. You can see how the screen includes the dual curved edges, the various sensors on the top bezel (including the iris scanner) the thin side bezels and small bottom bezel. The video was originally discovered on weibo. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display carrying a 1440 x 2960 resolution. Depending on the country where the phone is being purchased, you'll find the Exynos 8895 SoC or the Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood.

The Galaxy S8 will be equipped with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of native storage. Those seeking additional storage can access the 256GB capacity microSD slot. The rear-facing camera is 12MP, and includes an f/1.7 aperture allowing users to snap decent photographs under low light conditions. OIS is included. The front-facing camera weighs in at 8MP and captures wide angle selfies. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 7.1 will be pre-installed.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ will have the same specs except for a larger 6.2-inch display, and a higher capacity 3500mAh battery. Both models are expected to be equipped with an iris scanner and an IP68 certification for protection from dust and water.

The devices should both be unveiled on March 29th. Earlier today, we told you that the rumored launch date of the two handsets has been pushed back one week to April 28th. The delay is now being blamed on low yield rates suffered by Qualcomm and Samsung on the production of their new 10nm chipsets.
