Samsung Galaxy Nexus gets official MIUI ROM
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is still probably the hottest Android handset out there, and it accounts for a huge part of the active Ice Cream Sandwich devices out there, and now you’ve got one more reason to consider it - it’s gotten an official and stable version of the MIUI ROM.
MIUI is one of the most popular custom ROMs for Android and many would say that it’s the best looking one. It somewhat reminisces the user interface of iOS as it doesn’t have an app drawer. That makes it stand out among other ROMs as well, and it’s also very distinct in its simplicity. You could, of course, install a different launcher to get the standard Android app drawer if you prefer.
So what works in this official build? It’d be easier to point out what doesn’t - themes for example require you to reboot and pull the battery in order to work. Everything else should be fine.
