Is your OnePlus 3 or 3T camera bump slightly tilted? (false alarm)

UPDATE: What appears to be a crooked camera bump on the OnePlus 3T is merely an optical illusion, as the image's author clarified on reddit.

Here's one that surprised us. Apparently, a number of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T phones seem to suffer from a peculiar issue with the camera bump. According to a thread on Reddit, some camera bumps on the two phones are slightly tilted one way or the other.

What's interesting is that the issue is not present with all units, nor is it equally prominent on all affected devices. The camera bumps on some units appear to have a more noticeable tilt than on others. We don't think this affects camera performance at all, so it's probably just an aesthetic thing.

Once we came across this new info, we looked at our own units in the office, and while the 3T appears to be okay, the camera bump on our OnePlus 3 seems like it's a bit off. Of course, we could be imagining things, as we haven't measured it precisely.

In the photo below, you can see the obvious tilt on the OnePlus 3T Colette Edition, which one user on Reddit described as “ridiculously wonky”.

Keep in mind that this is something you will be unable to unsee, once you notice it, so if you love your OnePlus 3 or 3T to bits, don't look at its back. But in case you do, make sure to let us know if your camera bump is properly aligned in the comments below.
