Nomad outs the 3" Apple Lightning cable you can carry on your key ring

Nomad's Lightning Cable, which solves the old puzzle how to easily transfer larger files to and from your iPhone and iPad when out and about, is now available for preorder, with first shipments starting in June.

At $24.99, it is essentially just a 3" short Apple Lightning-to-USB cable, compatible with the newest iPhone and iPad editions fancy Lightning ports.

The project was kicked off by Nomad at Kickstarter last year, and the undertaking quickly amassed the needed funds from iPhone 5 and iPad 4 owners that were longing for a shorter, more compact Lightning cable than Apple's nearest offering.
