Nokia X7 targets gamers with a 4-inch screen, 8 MP camera on board
The recently leaked on video Nokia X7-00 seems to be a well-rounded gaming device, which runs Symbian^3 and boasts with a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 360x640. Specifications are still unofficial, but the screen size seems to match the one on the Nokia E7.

The Nokia X7 has four speakers on each corner, which reportedly produce “very loud” stereo sound. Other features include 450MB on-board memory with 245MB of RAM, a fixed battery and a microUSB port. The leaked pictures below give a better view of the design of the handset and show a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia X7 also sports an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash.

Unofficial data points to a scratch resistant gorilla glass display screen used by Nokia and a microSD slot supporting up to 32GB of memory. Take a look at the pictures and let us know your thoughts on the new Nokia handset in the comments!

The screen size sounds nice, but the resolution is disappointing. It should have a minimum of 480 X 800.

Nokia is just lacking in terms of hardware technology... also on their physical design.. i cannot comment on it... I guess if you like nokia, you will like its design.

Design is funky and neat, but if they want to compete with HTC, Samsung, and iApple, they will have to design more advanced hardware. iApple boasts 'Retina' display--so Nokia boasts 'half the resolution of Retina Display'. Way to beat out the competition...

I wouldn't be surprised if, given the size of the device, its CBD AMOLED with 360x640 resolution, and S^3 OS, that battery life is off the charts. For some, this might well prove a compelling gaming device.

im hopeful and confident for nokia and symbian... but now i saw this another phone... its time i go to iOS and Android... nokia and symbian is going down. very cheap hardware but its price is very high... even higher than android phones which boasts much better hardware.

Finally Nokia makes a 4:3 screen which means it can get QWERTY textinput in Portrait mode which I think is important. N8 and C7 is good for movies (looks amazing running a movie!!!) but not good for text-input. 360x640 is way better than iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and people have no problems with them do they? Next step is 720x1280 for Nokia but I guess that is for Tablets ;-) Nokia got the best technology suited for Embedded battery driven devices. Android (and other Linux platforms like Maemo and Meego) just sucks that battery up in no time, iPhone is a bit better but lot worse than Nokias. Nokia got the best 2G/3G radio-technology which is really what PHONES are all about. The updated Symbian^3 will look better on this device. Finally QWERTY and Homescreen following your finger when it swipes from side to side ;-p Hopefully they will fix the bugs like PROXIMITY detector not detecting the face so hanging up when chin touches the screen. Internet-connection not working on some phones, probably a configuration thingy. The Nokia Homescreen is SO much better than the crappy iPhone which is nothing but APP Icon browser. Android just mimics Nokia's homescreen. Google are much faster to market than Nokia which is a problem for Nokia. I like my Android Tablet for that purpose but not as a phone. I like my iPhone for simplified basic stuff but it's not a smart phone really. Sure you can download apps for it but so you can for Nokia S40 phones. Actually iPhone is just a clever clone of the Nokia 3210 which had a great UI for Blondes and other stupid people who are now buying iPhones for the Gucchi effect. Hopefully Nokia will bring out a bit faster processors when the technology doesn't suck your battery like on Android which is a mere technology-demo at the moment.
