New LG teaser video seemingly shows the V10 and its ticker screen
LG today posted a teaser video that's giving us a glimpse of what the company is going to announce early next month, on October 1. More exactly, LG is seemingly getting ready to unveil the V10, a smartphone that's expected to offer a regular 5.7-inch Quad HD display, plus a secondary ticker screen above it.

We've already seen photos showing the LG V10, and the teaser video appears to be confirming the existence of a ticker display next to what seem to be two front-facing cameras.

While the video doesn't reveal anything else, rumors have it that the V10 will be powered by a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor (just like the LG G4), while also featuring a 16 MP rear camera, 3 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of expandable internal memory.

LG's new teaser video suggests that the upcoming smartphone will let you "be you." It will be interesting to see how LG is presenting the V10, and exactly what extra functionality the ticker display can offer. What do you think, could the V10 be one of the most exciting new smartphones of this year?

3gb Ram, no way. Will pass and wait for 4Gb Ram. S808, S810 is better. You can root and disable throttling BS. Just straight consistent power.

SD-810 better than the SD-808? Ya that's what HTC, Sony and One+ said..... Doesn't seem to be working all that well for them... Just sain'....

i'd buy this if it's similar in price to the Moto X PE. $499 maybe.

i digging how the shortcuts are at the top. I use about 3 apps constantly all day long so a quick short cut like that could be really useful

Looks like LG is really stepping it up! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about the V10! Would love LG rose up to challenge Samsung for Android dominance!

The last great LG phone was the G2. After that, they've been going down. Hopefully, the G5 will be enough to challenge the S7 because Samsung is dominating and it's time for the others to step up.

G2 was the best of this series no doubt. After that battery performance really went down and phone would throttle and lag.

They need to switch to AMOLED for the G5 and UFS 2.0. Battery life would go up quite a bit.

Nah, they just need a SoC that doesn't eat battery life, hopefully SD820 will live up to this since the SD808 clearly failed.

And yet I've seen more people buy the G3 than the G2. They do need to step it up though cuz the G4 is a retread.

I'm actually a low-key fan of the G series smartphones. G2 and G3 were beasts, and I personally think that the G4 continues that tradition. I just came into possession of a G4, and although I haven't really put it through its paces, I haven't had any issues so far. Just my opinion. I really think LG could be the one to challenge Samsungs Android dominance. Definitely looking forward to the G4 Pro, the G5, and the V10.

G2 is LG change point. G3 is actually rubbish lag. G4 is real awesome! Don't let G3 make you though G4 is bad. No regret switching my S6 Edge to G4.

G2 was the best phone from LG so far. I miss my G2 but feel happy to see in the hands of my niece. This year sd810 and sd808 are killing LG
