Netflix will "get to mobile eventually, including the iPhone"
Technology limitations may hinder Netflix's streaming presence on current mobile devices – largely in part of speeds and networks not quite up to speed of where they think it should be. We all know it'll be a dream come true when Netflix will finally debut some kind of streaming service, but we'll just have to wait until it becomes a reality. Netflix's CEO, Reed Hastings, recently stated that the movie giant isn't too concerned about the mobile market right now – instead they're placing their attention on movie watching on other platforms. When asked about a partnership with Apple and their iPhone, he simply replied that they will “eventually” get around mobile devices, including the iPhone. With Netflix's seamless move into other media domains like the XBOX 360 and other platforms, we'll hopefully get a glimpse of a mobile release sometime down the road – sooner rather than later.
