Motorola prepares more than 20 smartphones for 2010
The Motorola DROID, manufacturer´s first handset to run Android version 2.0 got announced by Motorola and Verizon yesterday. We reported directly from the event, showed you pictures and presented you with our hands-on review of the device. Aside from the official announcement of the handset, however, one more interesting thing happened. CEO of Motorola, Sanjay Jha stated the company planned to release at least 20 smartphones in 2010 alone. Unfortunately, the high-ranking executive didn´t mention what operating system these would be based on. Assuming the previous information we have about Motorola´s decision to pass on WM6.5 and wait for Windows Mobile 7 is true, we guess they will run Android.
