Flagship Moto Z4 Force being prepared by Motorola, retail listing suggests
Motorola hasn’t released a flagship smartphone since the summer of 2017, but rumor has it the company could be re-entering the segment later this year with the Moto Z4 Force, a device which has now been mentioned in an Amazon listing.

Shortly after news broke that the Moto Z4 was already available to purchase, one Reddit user began searching around and dug up a separate listing for a screen protector specifically designed for the Moto Z4 Force. The product currently shows up as unavailable, but the listing clearly mentions the fact that the screen protector has been designed to work ‘only’ with the Moto Z4 Force. This is reiterated below too as, according to the manufacturer, the product won’t fit the ‘Moto Z4 Play’ or the regular ‘Moto Z4.’

Curiously, these two smartphones are understood to be the same one. Moreover, yesterday’s listing pointed towards the presence of a 6.4-inch display on the Moto Z4, the same panel that is rumored to grace the Moto Z4 Force. So, at this point, it’s unclear why the screen protector is incompatible.

Aside from the notched display, the Moto Z4 Force will apparently arrive equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 paired with a respectable 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Also rumored is a 25-megapixel selfie snapper and a triple-camera setup on the rear that utilizes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 13-megapixel alternative that offers unknown capabilities.

Completing the entire setup is said to be Android 9 Pie, a 3,230mAh battery complete with 15W fast charging, an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, and Moto Mods support, which should allow the phone to be used on 5G networks thanks to the dedicated Mod. Also, on one final note, a price tag of $650 was recently attached to the model.

this would be a fantastic device to add to the Moto Z line up, I would get this device if specs were true.

Yes. Other than the notch, this is exactly what I've been waiting for from the 'Z' line. So sad they couldn't make a good phone last year. I had to 'settle' for the Razer 2 earlier this year and I'm not sure that was a good choice. Can't wait to get back to Motorola.

I can see this being a valid upgrade if you've already invested in a few Moto Mods. I have a buddy I chatted with this weekend who still has a Z2 Force which he accidentally bent when he closed his car door on it. If it wasn't for owning a bunch of mods already, the Nubia Red Magic 3 and Zenfone 6 are much better buys.

I hope the battery is a little bigger, more like 3600-3700 mAh.

I still have my old Z Force Droid Edition. I bought a battery power mod to keep it running all day. I would definitely upgrade to z4 force.

I'm still hanging onto my old Droid Turbo 2 because I've had Motorola cell phones since the 1980s, yes my first phone was a brick. Outside of it getting old and feeble my Turbo 2 has everything I want, a good camera, wireless charging, and SD card support. The new Motorola Z line doesn't have a decent camera or wireless support without Motorola mods, and you need more than one of them to get what I have in my Turbo 2 already. If the Motorola Z4 Force actually comes out it sounds like it will have most of what I want except for wireless charging. I called Motorola yesterday and they told me they're no longer making the wireless charging mod so after more than 30 years of having Motorola cell phones I'm going to have to get something else next time.
