Mortal Kombat X official launch trailer: bloody fatalities and more

13comments

The official launch of Mortal Kombat X is right around the corner, and now the official launch trailer for the game is out.

Featuring the bloody, violent gameplay with even more X-Ray brutality scenes, the official Mortal Kombat X launch trailer is directed by System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian. The aggressive music of the band’s Chop Suey tune accompanies all the action on the screen as well.

Mortal Kombat X will have more than 100 fatalities, it will feature all the well-known characters that we've seen from the beginning of the series: Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and even Goro as a playable character for those who pre-order early. In addition to them, though, there are some new characters that transport gamers a quarter century ahead into the future.

Be warned: the video below is definitely NSFW for its extreme violence, and so will be the game. The official release date for Mortal Kombat X is set for April 14th, just a week from now.
