Mortal Kombat X official launch trailer: bloody fatalities and more

The official launch of Mortal Kombat X is right around the corner, and now the official launch trailer for the game is out.

Featuring the bloody, violent gameplay with even more X-Ray brutality scenes, the official Mortal Kombat X launch trailer is directed by System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian. The aggressive music of the band’s Chop Suey tune accompanies all the action on the screen as well.

Mortal Kombat X will have more than 100 fatalities, it will feature all the well-known characters that we've seen from the beginning of the series: Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and even Goro as a playable character for those who pre-order early. In addition to them, though, there are some new characters that transport gamers a quarter century ahead into the future.

Be warned: the video below is definitely NSFW for its extreme violence, and so will be the game. The official release date for Mortal Kombat X is set for April 14th, just a week from now.

I would consider grabbing this game for PC for sure. Looks like they put some good work into this one. Although, GTA V comes out for PC shortly and mine is ready to max that game out :D

I'm waiting for reviews of GTA V Cautious since GTA IV was a terrible port But I'm expecting a good port since Max Payne 3 was a great port And since GTA V is suppose to be playable at 4K, its gotta be far more optimized than GTA IV

Well, Mortal Kombat is known to be the game that led to create ESRB rating (e.g. for 17+ ...). When they put it on smartphones, and since MK X is the most bloody version of all, would they make it illegal to play outside (outside I mean outside on your smartphone.) Think of someone playing it on train or bus,and next to him there is a 5 year old kid or even 50 years old lady, how would their reaction be like.

That hasn't prevented M rated games coming out on handheld systems, including Nintendo handhelds as well as the PSPs.
