Microsoft Launcher update adds new gesture option, home screen improvements
You didn't think that Microsoft will stop delivering new updates to its Android launcher for a month, did you? Although it doesn't bring major changes to the mix, the latest Microsoft Launcher update does add a few tweaks that will certainly improve the user experience.

So, if you're using Microsoft Launcher on a regular basis, you'll notice there's a new update available for download via Google Play Store. You can find the most important changes that made it in this version of Microsoft Launcher below:

  • Improved Home screen import logic
  • Sort your apps alphabetically in folders
  • Display names of apps or folders in your dock
  • Customizable gesture for pressing the Home button from the Home screen
  • New gesture option that lets you quickly lock the layout of your Home screen

On a side note, Microsoft updated the beta version of the launcher as well, but there's only one major change called “Your family in Launcher.” Basically, parents with Microsoft Launcher installed will be able to view the last known location and activity of their children using an Android smartphone with this app.

Microsoft can come close to Google in innovation than compare to apple, just only the thing steve ballmer made msft only left behind and out was in mobile development and revolution which should had happen sooner together with apple & google before 2010 than later they did it with their innovation in 2012 with windows phone 8 so they miss out but they can still come back with foldable smartphone as double screen phone or tablet like notebook in smartphone industry since they can provide all tech which apple can't what google is providing at various utility beneficits.
