MetroPCS extends its LTE network into four more markets
Now that the 4G race is at a go with the major carriers making a big push into this evolving category this year, big time prepaid wireless carrier MetroPCS aims to keep up with the pack.

Today, they've announced the availability of their LTE network in four additional new markets that include Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Miami, FL; and Orlando, FL. Naturally, it goes to show that they intend to go toe-to-toe in this increasingly competitive market, but they still only offer one LTE enabled handset – which is the Samsung Craft. However, we've seen photos of the Samsung Forte SCH-R910 which is gearing up to be a respectable Android powered smartphone that'll hopefully flaunt the Galaxy S brand.

As it stands right now, MetroPCS has a total of 13 markets covered with their LTE network and we'll hopefully see more light up in the coming year.
