LeTV’s upcoming phone is the most blatant iPhone 6 clone you've seen so far

LeTV, a popular video platform in China similar to Hulu, is on track to launch its first two smartphones and… they’re blatant iPhone clones.

The company posted a teaser image of its LeTV Android phone that reveals the design of the gadget, and the copying is so blatant that one has to look closely to actually see the differences.

What do we have in the LeTV that is so similar to the iPhone: the color, the speaker grill styling, even the trapezoid plastic bands on the back are there with the same color, shape and form. It seems that unlike the iPhone, though, the LeTV features a slightly curved aluminum back (rather than a flat one) and flat sides (rather than curved ones).

LeTV, is one of China's biggest online video platforms featuring over 100,000 TV series episodes and more than 5,000 full-featured movies. The company has earlier teased a phone that is expected to be much more compact than the iPhone while having the same screen size. The pricing of this upcoming LeTV phone is also expected to be lower than that of an iPhone.

The back looks like a Galaxy A5 but with those hideous iPhonish antena bands.

Galaxy A5?!? It looks like a iPhone 5/5s which the A5 copied.

I was talking about the back. But yeah, the Galaxy A5 copied the 5s, and every other Galaxy phone looks like an iPhone. Now go enjoy the rest of your day, you've unlocked another achievement.

The real question we will be asking ourselves soon is which phone does not look like an iPhone? cuz some believe even the S6 looks strikingly similar to the iPhone 6

They all tend to look a like in the end. I think the S6 looks a lot like a Sony Z3 with softer corners. The back of the iPhone 6 looks similar to HTC One or even looks like an older model, the Samsung Ativ S I8750 (http://cdn2.gsmarena.com/vv/pics/samsung/samsung-ativ-s-new1.jpg )

I ll give it to Apple that Samsung did copy their positioning of the headphone jack, but didn't Apple move the power button to the side the way Samsung have been doing for ages?

Aside from the band and bottom speaker grill, I don't see what else looks so much like the iPhone 6.

I mean if someone made a completely round phone someone would say apple clone. I'm not saying this isn't a copy it clearly resembles other phones. but really what does every one expect when we use the same geometric shapes for the last 20 years.

I don't even understand why people like the design of the iPhone 6. The camera sticks out awkwardly, the antenna bands are hideous, and the curved/super thin body feels weird in the hand.
