LG also prepares an ECO-friendly phone

LG also prepares an ECO-friendly phone
It seems that this year will be crucial for the mobile industry. On one hand, the global economic crisis hits hard everyone and even the leader Nokia has to cut employees. On the other, the problem with the pollution of the environment attracts more and more attention and the mobile manufacturers have to find a way to deal with this issue. In this relation, Samsung is going to release its phone, Blue Earth, but it seems that the other Korean giant, LG, is having similar plans.

At MWC 2009, LG will present its ECO Friendly Zone, along with many other products that are gentle with the Mother Earth. This includes a phone with solar panel, which is said to offer 3 minutes of talk time after only 10 of charging. The company will announce its plans to use smaller packages, made of recycled materials. It will use eco ink that is harmless to people. Sadly, there are no further details about this phone, but we promise to inform you about everything that we hear of it in Barcelona.

Wow, what a terrible idea. May god have mercy on the owners of these devices.

Of course it's terrible if you don't care about future. All the cellphone companies are taking measures to convert all of their phones into eco-phones! It's a wonderful idea or probably all of the companies are making a great mistake. Pity of them, so. I don't mind to wear a solar panel in the back of my cell because most phones wear the camera in the back of them, only. They aren't eliminating the keypad, or qwerty, or the display in order to place the panels, or probably the skin of your hand is too damn fragile to touch a solar panel! I would rather prefer to charge my future cellphone on a stone hitted by the sun than looking for a damn plug where there's any. The new eco-technology can probably save your a** in the future and, I don't know about you, but I really care about my a**!

It's nice that LG and Samsung are taking ECO friendly phones to the next level. Sure, the Renew is made out of recycled plastic water bottles...but really...does anyone care about that?

Could you imagine the VZW Boulder though with a Solar panel...Not only is it practically indestructable but it would be the perfect phone to get lost with...Water, dust, shock resistance, plus electronic compass and an LED flash thats bright enough for a Griswald...only to have a solar panel with it would complete its survivor man persona...I want to get paid for this Casio so dont think you can steal my Idea!!!

Can you Imagine just how bad the charge would be? Honestly, why even bother.
