Huawei announced today a raid on the low-end WP8 market in the US, bringing its first phone with Microsoft's newest mobile OS version to Walmart. As a reminder, the
Ascend W1 sports a 4" LCD screen with 480x800 pixels, a dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon, 5 MP camera able to do 720p video, 2 GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot for its expansion.
The Ascend W1 will be sold in Walmart, where the
Nokia Lumia 520 will be keeping it a low-key company when it
gets restocked there, and it will come with the enigmatic 30-day unlimited contract, the providing carrier on which is shrouded in mystery, as is the price still.
