When you take time to think about it, our devices possess a haunting nature all year long. First, they’re connected to the internet, and we know the internet never throws anything away, ever.
Then there are the other maddening realities, such as sporadic battery performance, a random reboot, or a contact list with a multiple-personality disorder. Social media, with notification minds of its own, could provide enough content to be its own reality special of Ghost Hunter starring Jesse Ventura.
If ever there was a case to be made for our devices being under the spell of some haunting entity, it is auto-correct, and auto-correct alone. Toss in a few extra phantom vibrations, a notification light that seems to only blink out of the corner of your eye, and yes, our devices may very well be the embodiment of Something Wicked This Way Comes.
