HTC’s tech-duo highly recommends the One (M8) if you’re a pirate

Well, the idea is that the “Motion Launch” feature of the HTC One (M8) makes it easy to use the device one-handed. Thus, if you happen to be a pirate with a hook on one hand, the new HTC flagship is for you.
Motion Launch allows you to wake and access features of the HTC One (M8) without having to press the power/lock button which is located rather inconveniently at the top of the device. Simply swiping up on a sleeping phone brings you right back where you were.
A motion from left to right brings up HTC’s BlinkFeed. Making the same gesture from right to left launches the widget panel, and for swiping from top-down, the phone wakes and turns on voice dialing. It all works well enough that you pretty much forget about the button on top altogether.
Put all that together with the premium build quality and slick form factor, and the HTC One (M8) makes a compelling case whether you happen to be a pirate or not.

i used xperia z2 and htc one m8 both of them. htc is more stable and no lag ui. it's opening apps faster than z2. m8's speaker is also better than z2. only z2's camera is good but its still better than m8 :))

Why would a pirate buy a smartphone? I think they would buy big guns instead of this. It's not even water proof and pirates are in ships always.

Just less bezel n decent camera. But it performs poor in lowlight condition so its decent camera. In order to be a best camera a phone should be able to take good photos both in day light n low light.
