HTC U11 vs HTC 10: The new features

Back in January, HTC announced a duo of smartphones, the HTC U Ultra and U Play, which, although fresh-looking and unique in their own respective ways, failed to generate a lot of excitement. Part of the reason why the pair didn't enjoy a lot of limelight was the fact that it came out packing Snapdragon's last year flagship CPU, when people were getting excited for the brand new, more powerful, and more battery-friendly Snapdragon 835.

HTC promised that, when the new top-of-the-line CPU is available, it would come out with a smartphone to match. The Taiwanese tech giant has kept its word by launching the HTC U11 with SD 835 on board, and it comes with a host new features to get excited over! Let's see what's changed since last year's HTC 10:

Nice back colours but the front bezels remain black regardless of whatever back colour you choose. This smacks of corner-cutting, cheap and cheerful, compared to other OEM's like Samsung's Galaxy S7/S7Edge where the front bezels are the same colour as the back.

WHY DOES PA INSTANTLY SAY THE SQUEEZE IS A GIMMICK? no wonder HTC can't get anywhere. They said the same thing about the Zoe camera which had features like motion photo and "portrait" mode (selective focus), but of course it's a gimmick when anyone but Apple tries it??? WTF FORCE TOUCH IS A F'N GIMMICK! stop with the BS and let us know the how the new interaction could help us with our phones... you want HTC to be different but as soon as they pull the trigger you condemn them as if they are the most terrible company in the world... PA stop with this pro-Apple all the time it's obnoxious

"There's even a curious audio “zoom” feature that amplifies the sound when you zoom in on its source while shooting video" That's sarcasm, right ? This feature was available on the LG G2 and Galaxy S5. If you don't know that, you might need to work a bit more on your reviews. While you're at it, please change the battery life test. :)

"The HTC 10 bared an IP rating of 53, making the handset not even dust-resistant." By definition IP5X is dust resistant, it just means certain kinds of dust will get in under certain conditions, but it also means that such dust will not interfere with the operation of the device.
