HTC U11 gets new update, 1080p 60FPS video recording on board

A new update has started rolling out for the HTC U11. Coming in at about 663MB, the software upgrade should bump the software version to 1.27.400.9

There's a nice new functionality aboard the latest update - users will be able to record 1080p 60FPS video clips after they install it. HTC vowed to include the feature earlier this year, so it's nice to see the company fulfill its promise. Also included is the Android security patch for the month of August, as well as a bunch of system improvements which aren't specified.

FINALLY Sprint is pushing this update out to users, got mine today, and it's version 1.28-something, not 1.27

How could it not have 60fps 1080p recording at launch? That is such a basic camera feature, every phone I've had since 2013 has had it. I'm not trying to bash the phone, it isn't for me, but looks like a good device. I just question how they could launch it without this. Lol

Comming from someone that has Trump as a avatar pic.... Anyone better than you. BTW, Have you ever hold and use one HTC U11 for more than 5 minutes? NO? Comming from a iPhone 7plus, and S7 Edge, and I can tell you for sure, it´s an awesome phone, better in many aspects, just on par in others. I´m not butthurt, I´m a real world user, that can afford changing cellphone 5-6 times per year, and I have the feeling that so far, HTC has the best phone I´ve owned. Period.
