HP Pre3 receives a minor OTA update
Since HP officially stated that it is abandoning all of its products powered by the webOS platform, some might think that the HP Pre3 is already obsolete despite the fact that it has been on sale for mere days. However, the smartphone may have not seen its very last day just yet as an OTA software for it has just been made available for download.

The update for the HP Pre3 brings webOS to version 2.2.0 build 3171, but what improvements it makes to the platform is still unclear. Still, feedback from those who have already installed it out points out that webOS' built-in help function is now working. That is pretty much all we know so far, though it would be a safe bet to assume that the patch also takes care of minor glitches and stability issues.

If you happen to be a Pre3 owner yourself, feel free to check if the update is available to you as well, and if you come across any interesting changes, do not hesitate to drop a comment below and tell us what they are.
