Google is bringing the Month view back to its Android calendar app
Google says that when it comes to its calendar app for Android, it is listening to you. Back in February, Google started making changes to the app, and will be bringing the Month view back to the calendar based on your feedback. The Month view allows you to see more events with a quick glance at the screen. With the update, when you look at a particular date, you can see the color of events giving you a quick idea of what your day is going to be like. You can also now switch views on the calendar more easily since they are in the navigation drawer. The update should be available within days.

In February, Google added a seven-day week view, and gave you control whether you wanted to import birthdays from Google+. That update also added Google Drive to your calendar files and view week numbers in settings.

Having a month view would almost seem to be a must for a calendar used on a phone. And that is why many switched to a third party app once Google removed it. But now that it is back, we could see those who gave up on the Google Calendar app for Android give it another shot. And if you have the iOS version of Google Calendar, there is no need to be jealous. Google says it is bringing many of these features to the iPhone version of the app as well. Google Calendar is a free download for either platform.
