Google News and Weather now available for iOS
If you are an iOS user who likes to keep up with all of the latest events taking place around the world, you might be interested in Google News and Weather. This app is ported over from the Google Play Store and provides you with headline news and weather. Simple swipes take you from Top Stories to other categories like Sports, Weather, Tech, etc.

Google News and Weather tracks 65,000 publications, and you can focus on news from a certain country and even specify certain topics. If you want to learn more about a story, you can tap on it for a more in-depth presentation. And you can even read others' opinions about a particular news story, including a local perspective.

You can download and install the app for free. While Gmail for iOS received an update the other day to support the 4.7-inch screen on the Apple iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch screen on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Google News and Weather already supports the two new larger screen sizes for the iPhone.
