Funky HTC A16 pictured, could be an affordable Desire

At the moment, there are no details on the specs of the HTC A16, but this is obviously quite a colorful device, some variants of it having funky, somewhat childish patterns on the back cover. On the front, we can see a camera and a set of dual speakers, while the rear hosts another camera (with LED flash) plus what seem to be lanyard strap holes.
By the looks of it, the A16 is likely part of HTC's Desire lineup of handsets, and will (hopefully) run Android Marshmallow out of the box. The date that's visible on its home screen suggests that HTC may plan to launch the device in early March. According to Taiwanese website 3C Talk, the A16 may cost around $150, which means we shouldn't expect it to offer any high-end features - the design doesn't scream high-end anyway. We'll let you know if we see the new smartphone at MWC 2016 in the coming days.

Exactly my thought. It's also looking better than both S7 and G5.

Hope it has atleast SD 412 or higher. Other wise even if it was affordable it is not a good device to buy. Last time htc introduced an affordable handset they used Sd 210. I was laughing, lollipop should be laggy on such a processor.

Because of that weird print on rear plate( looked like water droplets, kind of) I immediately thought that HTC is making a cheap, rugged midrange phone. I was dissapointed. :( Still a pretty decent looking phone nevertheless and the print is an interesting addition.

But What HTC screws though is in Updates. Some of my friends own the HTC 626, in my country it is priced close to Galaxy A3 (2015) but until now it is in Kitkat while the A3 has been updated to lollipop
