Flipboard beta will be available on all Android devices soon
The Samsung Galaxy S III picked up Flipboard as an exlcusive, as if there was little excitement around it, but the app just adds to it - Flipboard is one of the prettiest ways to get the news on your mobile device. It works brilliantly on the iPhone, but what holds it from arriving on all Android devices? Turns out, that it is indeed coming to all Androids soon, but it is just that the developers behind it need to take their time to ensure that it works properly across all screen sizes that Android offers.

That is also the main reason why Flipboard is launching on the Galaxy S III only initially - that’s a massive pilot platform for the company to test its application on big-screened smartphones.

The company is also planning to release Flipboard as a beta APK available for sideloading initially, so that interested power users could install it, and give their feedback. As much as we want to have Flipboard here and now, that’s definitely a sound reason for delaying the application. But it’s definitely coming to all Android devices, so stay tuned.

Stands to reason that I'm using Flipboard on my Sensation and seems I'm locked out of some feeds unless I have an optimium account but on ipad it works very well. Hmmm....
