Dropbox referral bonus doubled to 500 megabytes

Hmm, the guys behind Dropbox might be a bit concerned about the upcoming release of Google Drive, judging by the fact that users now get twice the extra storage space for bringing a buddy to Dropbox. Effective April 3, a Dropbox user will get an additional 500MB of cloud storage per referral for a maximum of 16 gigs of extra space. Pro accounts, on the other hand, will receive a whole gigabyte for each referral, up to a maximum of 32GB of additional storage. Now, those of you who have already invited a bunch of people to Dropbox won't get away without getting a bonus too. Within a couple of days, all users will receive additional storage space for each one of their Dropbox referrals.
If you are not quite familiar with Dropbox yet, it is a cloud-based storage service that works on smartphones and tablets, as well as on desktop computers. You can always try it for free or sign up for a premium account that offers extra space, so if you are interested, just follow the source link below and see what it is all about.
