Do women really treasure their mobile phones more than their boyfriends?

You’d guess the love for a significant other would outweigh and be placed higher on a scale than the materialistic possession of a mobile phone, right? It’s found out to be the other way around with women treasuring their handsets more than their own boyfriends – kind of shocking don’t you think? Actually it’s based on a study conducted by Borro.com with over 4,000 women polled – it showed that four in ten said they would be “devastated” if they lost their phones, while a third admitted they could happily live without a man in their lives. In the top 20 items most treasured possessions by women list, mothers came in at the top spot while mobile phones was at number three. Taking the fifth spot was of course boyfriends – it’s a bit striking to see it placed lower than mobile phones. It’s said that mobile phones keep women connected and is always by their side – boyfriends now need to be wary about them. So the next time you see your girlfriend whipping out her phone, you may want to give it a good stare down to hint your disliking of it.
