Bixby is about to learn Spanish

Ever since the beginning, Samsung's AI personal assistant Bixby has experienced linguistic difficulties to a certain degree. Various reports earlier this year alleged that the delayed release of Bixby Voice was due to the AI having problems with English grammar and syntax.

Bixby Voice was doing fine with two languages after its somewhat rocky launch, but up until Samsung brought Chinese to the table recently, it had support only for English and Korean. However, Bixby is about to learn a fourth language in the form of Spanish. Samsung has made no official announcements regarding the matter, but it seems like Spanish is now showing up in the Bixby language settings menu for some people. We don't know when the new language option will be widely available, but we wouldn't be surprised to see a staged rollout.

To see what languages options are available for Bixby on your phone, go to Bixby settings, scroll down to Language and speaking style, and select Languages.

Nice! The most versatile digital assistant just keeps getting better. Don't even need a whole OS update for it to get e even more versatile, unlike siri/cortana...

Lol. Bixby is a no go with lots of actual commands. It does great with things you can use for finger for, i.e "turn on flashlight" "open twitter and start a tweet" but it's frustrating to use day to day.

Lol, you obviously have no clue of the loads of time saving uses of Bixby. Here's a good place for you to get a clue: And with a recent update to it, can have all the quick commands done in the background without living the current app. Siri, just an outdated joke in comparison..

Haha, I don't blame you for just realizing the uses. Loads of so-called "tech reviewers" didn't even bother to give it a chance, they just thought it'll be another useless S-Voice 2, and Samsung delaying the voice input aspect only made things worse. But now that's it's been available, it literally went from 0 to being the most useful voice assistant. So much time-saving uses via its quick commands feature...
