Benchmark test reveals specs for Samsung Galaxy A5 sequel

Just the other day, the possible sequels to the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A7 had their specs revealed after each went through the GFXBench benchmark test. Conspicuous by its absence was the sequel to the Samsung Galaxy A5. But today, we do have specs for the Galaxy A5 sequel, as the phone finally joined its siblings in being put through the GFXBench test.

The results show that the SM-A510 will feature a 5.2-inch screen, with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. An octa-core 1.6GHz CPU is under the hood, along with the  Mali-T720 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of expandable internal storage. A 13MP camera is on back, with a front-facing 5MP shooter available to take selfies and handle video chats.

The sequel to the Galaxy A3 (SM-A310) will carry a 4.7-inch, 720 x 1280 screen. The Galaxy A7 sequel (SM-A710) will offer a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. All three phones have yet to be unveiled, but that could be happening soon. At that time, not only will we find out pricing and availability for the trio, but we will also find out what the name of each handset will be.

Thanks for the tip!

Not really. It's most likely Exynos 7580 and doesn't have Cortex-A57. Gfxbench is notorious with similar mistakes.

Just saying, both are really notorious for mistakes They just really on the build.prop for the info e.g. iPhone 6S (actually an iPhone 4) iPhone 6S (actually an iPad Air 2) Nexus 5 with Android 5.2 Xperia Z2 with Andriod 420.696969

Don't Listen To The Others Replying To You. The Soc Is Powerful Indeed For A 1080p Device, The Specs Put It Just Under The Exynos 5433 That Powered The Note 4.

Just under? It's much much less powerful than 5433 and 5430. Snapdragon 615 level.

The Specs Shown Here Are More Powerful That The 5430 By Fair And Not Fair Behind The 5433. 4 A57 And 4 A53 Cores And The Mail-T720 MP6(I Asume) GPU Which Is An Under Powered Mail-T760 MP6 Both Gpus Had The Same Release Date. The Mail-T628 MP6 In The E5430 Has A Lower Clock Rate, Fewer GFLOPS Per Core, And A Slower Texture Fill Rate Than The T720. The Tech In The 5430 Is A Year Behind The Specs Listed For The Sequel To The A5. Check For Yourself If You Have To.

Because when they made the phone Android 5 is what was out. I hate people who don't understand how itbworks. But yet it is simple. The phone was designed and tested while 5.1 is out. 65 wasn't available then sonics not gonna come with 6. How hard is that too understand? This site is really for people who understand tech
