Benchmark test reveals specs for Samsung Galaxy A5 sequel

22comments
Just the other day, the possible sequels to the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A7 had their specs revealed after each went through the GFXBench benchmark test. Conspicuous by its absence was the sequel to the Samsung Galaxy A5. But today, we do have specs for the Galaxy A5 sequel, as the phone finally joined its siblings in being put through the GFXBench test.

The results show that the SM-A510 will feature a 5.2-inch screen, with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. An octa-core 1.6GHz CPU is under the hood, along with the  Mali-T720 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of expandable internal storage. A 13MP camera is on back, with a front-facing 5MP shooter available to take selfies and handle video chats.

The sequel to the Galaxy A3 (SM-A310) will carry a 4.7-inch, 720 x 1280 screen. The Galaxy A7 sequel (SM-A710) will offer a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. All three phones have yet to be unveiled, but that could be happening soon. At that time, not only will we find out pricing and availability for the trio, but we will also find out what the name of each handset will be.

Thanks for the tip!
