Are you using apps that hide photos, files or folders on your phone?
We have become so dependent on our smartphones, that almost everyone of us carries personal information on them, be it only their latest call and messaging log. There are also pictures we might not want someone to see if they share our phone, files that are for our eyes only, or apps that we've installed on the hush-hush that aren't for everybody to peruse.

Thankfully, there are plenty of apps and even launcher security options that can hide our files, folders, photos and other media, and even other apps. These hidden photos or folders with sensitive information would be mysteriously absent for anyone else but us, hiding in plain sight, being accessible only via a password, PIN, pattern, or, lately, a fingerprint reading.

Given the proliferation of such restricted access methods, we wanted to ask you if you are using any hiding apps or options to prevent unauthorized access to content on your mobile device. Tell us in the poll below, and spill what you like to use in the comments.

Yep, the Private Mode is perfect for that. I can hide anything with my fingerprint and without installing any additional app.

That's why TouchWiz remains a great UX, despite the lag claims.

No Cause I Don't Have Nudes Of Myself So Therefore I Don't Care If Someone Sees Them. But They Aren't Out In The Open Of Course They're In The Cloud And My Bluetooth Files Which No One Ever Bothers To Check, Plus I Have Like 1000+ Photos In The Cloud LOL Good Luck Finding What You're Looking For.

Not sure what cloud you're referring to but you do remember what happened to Jennifer Lawrence, Megan Good & those others right? Not saying you're likely to get hacked but no one can remotely log into my phone & access the files on my SD card.

Quickpic is a nice gallery replacement that has two ways of hiding pictures, one of which is password protected

Yes, it's called the Google Photos app. It's so unorganised I cannot find any whatsapp or camera photo I made a year ago.

No, I use my Touch ID to lock access to specific images. Blurred out until unlocked.
