Would you like Apple to launch a gold iPhone X? (poll results)

Apple is currently selling the iPhone X in just two colorvariants (silver and space gray), but there have been plenty of rumors about agold version of the handset.

Before Apple got to announce the iPhone X, well-connected analystMing-Chi Kuo mentioned that, due to unspecified production problems, thecompany might release a gold variant of the phone sometime after the silverand space grey models. Since then, we haven't seen any new info about this, sothere's no way of telling if a gold iPhone X will ever be available to buy. Butwe were curious to know what you, our readers, thought about the possibility ofApple releasing a gold iPhone X, so we published this poll.

As you can see below, almost half of the poll respondents (47.11%)said that they would like Apple to launch a gold iPhone X. Slightly more thanhalf (52.89%) didn't see this as a good idea. Of course, we can't really knowif all those who voted are actually interested in getting an iPhone X. Still, for what would be a third color variant of the iPhone X, gold appears to be prettypopular - and that shouldn't be surprising, as most of Apple's recent iPhones, including the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, have/had at least one gold version.

In case you didn't manage to vote in our poll while this wasactive, feel free to share your opinion about the (non)existence of a goldiPhone X in the comments section.

52% no lol. I wonder who those votes came from. I personally would love to see a 6.5 inch gold model, I’d buy that quick.

I completely agree with you. I would purchase a Gold iPhone X too. I truly do not understand how anyone could vote against the color of a cell phone! If people do not like a Gold Phone, they don't have to buy it.

Maybe PA shouldn't have conducted this poll in the first place.

It's a poll. Asking who wants a gold model and who doesn't... most people simply aren't interested in a gold model. You could only vote no and yes. There should have been a third option that said "I personally wouldn't buy it so I don't care"

I voted no. Because 1 the X is a ripoff phone, 2 its an ugly gold colour , not like the original 18K colour.

I had no intention of voting until the trolls took over the comment section, so I decided to vote no just to please the trolls.

Get rid of the horrible notch and put a fingerprint scanner ANYWHERE, and I’ll buy a 6.5” model in any color.

Space grey iPhone 5s was the best iPhone design/looking ever ... Hope apple will go back to metal frame+glass back combo ....

I just actually traded my 8+ in for an X. I definitely agree with you with the looks. It’s the perfect size for me too.

They need to launch a 5.5 flat edge to edge screen NO notch, with faster wireless charging, Touch ID on the screen and get rid of that BS Face ID. They also need a huge over haul on the OS, but that can also be said for Android. My Nexus 6P is starting to get boring.

Stock Android is boring, that's the problem.

There’s like 5 a things that I can’t have on my Nexus that other people have on their Samsung HTC or any other. Everything they can do I can.

The NO vote is from those who already buy it

The poll was meaningless in the first place. Who doesn't like options?? It's not that a gold variant is affecting negatively other variants.

Gold would be a nice color. But I’m wondering why all OEM’s ditched white color ?
