AT&T's Atrix HD getting a serving of Jelly Bean as well
Forget the Mayan apocalypse, this is apparently the week of Jelly Bean updates. Just moments after getting reports that Verizon customers were seeing Android 4.1 headed to their handsets, AT&T is announcing that the Atrix HD is getting its Jelly Bean update as well. Based on how MotoBlur handles updates you should be able to pull this update even if your phone hasn’t yet alerted you to it, just head on over to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates and check for updates.

A Jelly Bean soak test apparently started in late November, and we imagine that there may have been some bugs caught and squashed, as recently the time between Motorola soak tests and the roll out of an update has been a matter of hours or days rather than weeks. Either way, Jelly Bean brings a substantial upgrade to the user experience of Android phones, so if you’re rocking an Atrix HD we suggest you update at your earliest convenience.
