AT&T Wireless launches international text messaging service

AT&T customers will be able to use text messaging to keep in touch with collegues, friends and love ones in select countries arounf the globe. Subscribers in more then a dozen countries can excange text messages with AT&T costumers in U.S. The company expects to bring on some 200 carriers in 100 countries in the months ahead.

AT&T wireless' costumers with compatible phones can enjoy text-messaging wile travelling abroad in the countires where the copmany has roaming agreements.
