ACER acquires E-TEN
The boards of directors of both companies have approved the acquisition offer E-Ten received from Acer. The estimated value of the deal between the computer giant and the WM based smartphone manufacturer is approximately $290 million. Acer will share its marketing strategies with E-Ten, which in return will contribute to the mutual prosperity, by revealing the secrets of being a successful smartphone maker. Joining efforts, the companies will be able to get a larger share of the global smartphone market, which is estimated to grow by more than %30 by 2011.

We hope Eten will keep improving its products and deliver more interesting products on the market of Windows Mobile smartphones.
