10 great images captured with smartphones #92

We're back with the 92nd post in our special photographic-centric series where we present you with a number of awesome images taken by... well, you (and your cell phones).

So, which picture did you like most last time? Interestingly, we have not one, but two winners - comerma-steffensen's photo, taken with the Samsung Galaxy S III, and R-Vjn's photo, taken with the Google Nexus 4. The latter was a close runner-up, and pretty well-deserved first places, we should say!

Of course, there are many other incredible images left to be seen. Let's continue with another set of 10 pics, each of which can easily convince even the most professionally-inclined photographer that cell phones are more than a toy in the camera department.

Please note that if your own awesome image is not included here, this doesn't mean that it won't end up on the site. We simply might not have gotten to it yet! So, we urge you to continue following us, as we'll be publishing more of these truly great photos in the following days and weeks.

We'd also like to remind you that you can continue submitting your cool cell phone pics to the following email address:

In order to not miss on all the glory, you also have to mention your name/nickname, as well as the phone you used to take the shots. A nice additional piece of info would be a name or a short description for the image.

With that, we now leave you with our 92nd set of favorite photos...

Which photo do you like most?

I hesitated between 5# and 8# because the fifth has beautiful scenery, good cropping a well chosen angle and perspective, sky to ground proportions, perfect timing, great top to bottom shade shift but the colours are poor, cold and washed out. Meanwhile the no. 8 is perfectly cropped, sharper, colours are just right and well composed, proportions are precisely selected, the scenery is wondeful and perspective does a great job. So 5th has some superior features, the author has an undoubtedly good eye and idea, but a lot about it and the level of craft of the 8. keeps 5. on the second place. Still 5. is far better than those 8 other ones.

Look closely at #5 (there is an airliner on top of it) This kind of timing and lighting is extremely fortuitous and a once in a million shot. This is a poster shot for smartphones. Take the picture as you see it.

Wow! Week after week we do not get to see pictures taken with an HTC M8. I know it's not its forte but they even post pictures from mini versions. I was planning to exchange my 5S for an HTC M8 but this must be a sign not to do it, the camera must be unbearable. So sad I, wanted to get back to Android :(

You should search and see the photos for yourself.. visit the One M8 google+ community, where you'll find plenty of amazing pics snapped by real users in real-life situations (which I think is way better than paying attention to tech-review intended photos)
