Based on some info from the Bluetooth SIG, it looks like the high end Samsung Galaxy S will be making an appearance at AT&T later this year. The Bluetooth SIG recently certified a Samsung full touch device (no physical QWERTY), the SGH-I897 which happens to have a 4 inch display and Touch Wiz 3.0. Darned if this also doesn't match the description for the Galaxy S which is identified as the GT-I900. Historically, Samsung models beginning with the SGH prefix and ending with the number "7" wind up at AT&T. Past examples include Propel (SGH-A767), Eternity (SGH-A867), Propel Pro (SGH-I627) and the Mythic (SGH-A897) among others. If this pattern remains true, AT&T customers could be deciding between the iPhone and a very strong Android 2.1 contender in the Galaxy S. The 4 inch Super AMOLED screen might be the deciding feature in that battle.

I know I said this before, but I'm hoping they treated the Backwards as a low end entry level model and will open this and the Desire wide open...

It'll be coming to Sprint for sure.
