ZTE to unveil the Nubia 5S on November 19
ZTE may not be the most recognizable smartphone manufacturer in the Western world, but it has earned its reputation of selling high-end devices at decent prices. The Chinese company is expected to reveal its newest flagship smartphone at a special press-event on November 19. The ZTE Nubia 5S, as the device is supposedly going to be called, is the follow-up to the Nubia 5, which was unveiled earlier this year. Last week, three leaked images brought up some speculation about the Chinese company's upcoming device. According to these photos, the alleged Nubia 5S will be quite similar to its predecessor and will not bring any radical differences to the overall design. The device is expected to feature a serious bump in the specs department, though.

There is no official info about the hardware of the phone, but of course, there are some speculations. The ZTE Nubia 5S is expected to take advantage of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, clocked at 2.2GHz. The Nubia 5S is also expected to come out with 2 GB of RAM, 5-inch 1080p display, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, which is pretty close to the current standard for high-end smartphones. It is currently unknown if the device will get the same Konica-Minolta lens from the Nubia 5. It might get a dedicated camera button and IR blaster, though. Although the speculated ZTE Nubia 5S specifications sound excellent on paper, the device will face some very rough competition from its local peeps Xiaomi, Oppo, Meizu etc.

It is currently unknown if the device will be available outside of China.
