Weather Hound for WP8 update fixes bugs, adds Trial version

Weather Hound, the $0.99 weather app for Windows Phone 8, has been updated to version 1.1. The update adds a trial period to let you try it in full before you reach deep into your pocket for that dollar. A solid-color lock-screen has been added, as well as descriptions of the available weather units for additional clarity. The update also squashes a few bugs with Live Tile updates, weather data refreshing and missing information caused by some regional settings.

If you are in New York, Weather Hound has an optional in-app purchase of detailed subway information. With its Live tile and Bing wallpaper support in addition to its authentic Microsoft design aesthetic, Weather Hound seems like a natural fit for your Windows Phone 8 device.
