That's a great sale. The other three major United States carries(AT & T, Sprint, and T-mobile) should do something similar on Leap Day.

As a Verizon customer for nearly 10 years, it really makes me sick that we are supposed to be the best and most reliable network in the U.S. But the irony I don't get is that, we don't carry the best phones. AT &T does. Hell, even Sprint and T-Mobile are better. If you can imagine the Samsung Note or the Titan 2 on the VZ network, it would be un f'n real. But yet the corporate big wigs still don't get it. They can't get these phones? Why? Yet we are stuck with something like the Droid Razr. Man, I don't give a s**t what the phone looks like. Give me the best specs, the best calling and speakerphone quality, and the best 4G connectivity. That is what makes Verizon, Verizon. But noooooo............we are so stuck on this thin crap and everyone is up ICS's ass. Enough is enough. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. If you go to the upcoming phones section of this site, how come VZ compared to all the other companies doesn't have anything announced except for 4 other unknown phones that no one has any info about? You know why? Because you suck balls Verizon. That's why. If I wasn't forced to work where I work where I have to have VZ, I would have long gone to AT&T or Sprint.

Who says that Verizon isnt getting the Samsung Galaxy Note? They still may. And if Verizon has such terrible phones, why dont the other carriers have the Razr Maxx? Or the Galaxy Nexus? I do have to agree with you tho that it is getting a bit rediculious with Verizon not having any decent windows phone. They really did drop the ball in that regard. When i worked for Verizon, they kinda pretended that window phone doesnt exist.

I've been with VZW for about 5 years and so far they seem to get the best phones pound for pound. Sure AT&T gets a big screened phone here and there, but when you stack it up to VZW big shot at the time, they are usually close, but VZW tends to get some of the best Motorola phones...the Razr is the hands down best Moto phone this century. There is a reason those corporate big wigs are there and you are here, they know how to make decisions....zing! Now if we can just get carriers to just deliver cell service and not muck up the hardware with proprietary garbage then we shall have world phones and well no more subsidies then we'll see who has a really reliable network and which do customers care for more.

i ilke how you proved yourself wrong right there in your own post. "..we are so stuck on this thin crap and everyone is up ICS's ass".... yeah, cause everyone else has had a 4.0 device for the past 2+ months. the rezound even has an ICS leak out. i'm sure everyone else is like "Man, my carrier of choice sucks because they don't have ANY ICS devices out right now". So sit your ass back down and sip some f**king green tea man, chill the hell out.

cmon guys, you can slightly agree with him, WHERE WAS VERIZON AT MWC? tmobile and att were very relevant getting monster of phones and how about CES? i am dissapointed but their lineup is great now, but cmon, were are in the next generation of a15 dual core and quad core, you would think verizon would get one? right?

Verizon never does big things for MWC, they usually just go all out at CES.

As a verizon customer you aren't very observant I DARE you to go to ATT or Tmobile for the "better phone" and then come back to the forums bitching about half assed coverage

i want to see that too. T-Mobile, att, or Sprint doesn't compare to Verizon who cares about the phone I mostly care if I will get service where I go

I think what he's trying to convey frustration. Verizon passed on the SG2, and so far mum about the Galaxy note & Lumia 900. In terms of the SGNx, it was my first smartphone, and I ended up returning it. Don't know about other users experience, maybe I just received a defective one, but it was no picnic. e.g. battery life terrible, dropped LTE signal, froze several times. Back to my dumbphone until hopefully, the iPhone 5.x. LTE.

Dude, you're a true bitter loser. You probably wouldn't know what to do with a Galaxy Note if you had one. This coming from the most hated guy on PhoneArena (Thank you, please hold all applause until I'm done). I, too, would like a Galaxy Note on Verizon but my DROID RAZR™ is perfect; I'm just a "size-King" and want that 5.3 screen, it has nothing to do with the RAZR™ itself because my RAZR™ can do things most phones can not. At 3:18 PM EST a number 4 train is going to barrel into Grand Central Station on the Express track; please go play "Jacks" on the track when it does. - Thank you

i really want a xyboard myself...but i think im gonna wait for a similar tablet with a quad core....ditch the smartphone and use google voice with a strictly data based plan (when they get the quirks out of voice on tablets) secondly...happy birthday!

I have metro and have no problem. You have been fooled into believing you need a fast smartphone for your daily living.(which I am sure is mostly video games and movies) You probably pay more for your smartphone bill than I do my smartphone home cable and internet bill together. Whos the joke on now???

I want the Nexus bad, and $200 is fine for me. It's the two year contract that gives me cold feet. That's just too long with one phone, and $700 off contract is too much.

I believe Phone Arena made a mistake....because the current promo for the Spectrum and Rezound ends tonight. The normal Rezound price is $199. So if it goes back to $199 minus $100 I would assume it will just be $99 for one more day.

Please hold for a Verizon Wireless sales representative to assist you with your order. Thank you for your patience. You are now chatting with 'Joel' Joel: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. May I help you with your order today? You: Hi Joel. Yes With the leap day special is the Rezound free? Joel: It is on all 4G devices at $100 off. You: When can I order it? Joel: Leap day sale started at 12am ET time. You: Ok so if I order the rezound, it is no charge correct? Joel: The Rezound is $199.99 with a new two-year contract. The promo discount is $100 off with a new total of $99.99. You: The Rezound has been listed at 99.99 for weeks now. So you are saying the 100 off essentially does not apply to rezound? Joel: It was $99.99 for only as a new line of service. Now after the promotional discount it is for a new line of service or an upgrade. Joel: Hi, I'm just checking in, how is everything going? You: What you are saying is not what the VZW site has had listed for some time now. The only real discounts are on the razr and galaxy nexus. You: Pardon me. I realize now some slight of hand with the dates. I see the rezound promo ended 2/28. OK. You can keep it. Joel: You are welcome. You: Joel are you actually there or just a series of automated responses? Joel: Anything else I can assist you with tonight? Joel: I am here. You: No you have been exceptionally unhelpful. I had the browse the site during our so called chat the actually figure out for myself what was what. You: Good night

I don't even see the Nexus as $199 - I see no discount on the RAZR ($199), Nexus ($299) while the Rezound and Bionic are $99.99 I kind of figured that's what would happen - I was hoping for a free Rezound but looks like that's not going to happen. Although what I don't understand is why the other devices do not show up as the "discounted" price either. I tried logged in and logged out - same result.
