The HTC HD2 for T-Mobile is now selling for $50 through Amazon
Even though HTC's other handset that's packing a 4.3” display is looking like it's selling very well right now, the original starter is getting an extremely nice price chop that makes it difficult to not miss. Amazon has long been able to sell current handsets at a lower price than what most would find through carrier stores. The HTC HD2 may still be a premium device to some people out there, but thanks to Amazon, it can now be purchased by just about anyone without emptying wallets completely. Priced at an attractive $49.99 with a 2-year agreement, the price of the HTC HD2 makes it even more compelling when you consider the high-end specs in tow. The price is definitely worth investigating, but one has to keep in mind the special event that T-Mobile will be holding very soon where it's rumored that every phone will be sold for free. If you can't wait until then, Amazon's current promotion for the handset should suffice.
