Target reduces the price of the iPhone 4S and many more smartphones for this week only
Although it’s not a huge reduction in price, it’s nonetheless going to attract some attention seeing that we rarely see any sales going on with the Apple iPhone 4S. If you happen to be in the market to pick up the most advanced iPhone yet, you’ll be happy to know that big box retailer Target has the 16GB iPhone 4S selling for $174.99 with a 2-year contract – that’s $25 off the normal sticker price!

On top of that, Target is also reducing the price on many of its Android smartphones, which covers all of the four major domestic carriers. Naturally, some are priced more aggressively than others, but just bear in mind that these killer savings are valid until the end of the week. Specifically, the sale ends on December 17th, so you’d better make a decision very quickly on which one to pick up.

Currently, the listing includes the following devices:

  • AT&T LG Thrill 4G, normally $79.99 for FREE
  • AT&T Motorola Atrix 2, normally $79.99 for $49.99
  • AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G, normally $99.99 for $49.99
  • Sprint LG Marquee, normally $99.99 for FREE
  • T-Mobile HTC Sensation, normally $99.99 for $49.99
  • T-Mobile HTC Wildfire S, normally $29.99 for FREE
  • T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII, normally $199.99 for $129.99
  • T-Mobile Samsung Sidekick 4G, normally $29.99 for FREE
  • Verizon HTC Rhyme MAP’d, normally $99.99 for $19.99
  • Verizon Illusion, normally $49.99 for $19.99
  • Verizon Samsung U370, normally $29.99 for FREE
  • Verizon Stratosphere, normally $99.99 for $49.99
  • And Great Deals on Sprint HTC EVO Design 4G, Sprint HTC EVO Shift 4G, Sprint MOT Photon, Spring Samsung Conquer, and Sprint Samsung Conquer

Obviously, in order to partake in this lovely promotion, just head on to your local Target store to check any of them out – though, you’ll need to sign your life away for 2-years to get the instant savings.

Plus 5% off if you have a Target RedCard, and the trade in program for old phones, ipods/ipads, cameras etc. This week an ATT iPhone 3GS get you $100 towards your purchase too. Yes, this sounds like a pitch, and I do work for them, but the real value is in all the bundled services saving you a chunk of cash off a corporate store. Although, sometimes Amazon and Wirefly have us beat on pure price, that's only online.

Support your local economy. Do not shop here for phones. Spend the few extra bucks and make someone specializing in these phones a few dollars for a good Christmas. We cannot fix a broken economy if we are not willing to spend $$. I'd rather spend the few extra bucks to help someone buy their kid a toy rather than save a few and be greedy and help these nation wide companies. Just my opinion.

Yeah... you don't know what you're talking about. I work for Target Mobile and we all specialize on phones since its ALL we do, we don't do anything else at Target except phones, we are contracted in here just like Wireless Advocates are contracted inside Costcos. This isn't like WalMart where the rep's don't have a clue what they're doing. BTW also Atrix 2 is actually FREE EVO 3D is FREE on a New and Upgrade with trade in of ANY working phone, could be an old nokia doesn't matter just has to turn on We also have the Galaxy S II for Sprint at 99.99 New and Up

I actually do know what I am talking about. Can't count how many targets I have been to where the "sales man" approached me and iasked him a basic question about a plan and he pulled out the pamplet to find out. Sounds like he was "specializing" in all wireless providers. I don't doubt some of you workers specialize in these but to say your all contracted to know everything is bull. Get a real job making more than minimum wage and then we'll talk. Also let me fix this. I didn't mean "sales man" I meant order taker cause you stand their waiting for someone to say "I'll take this" and you pull your thumb out of your butt and push a few buttons to help them. Have fun!

Lol you people who think you know everything just make me laugh! I sometimes get embarassed for you because of how unintelligent you sound. I also work at Target Mobile while finishing college, and I can tell you that I am making over 4x minimum wage. Not bad for a student if you ask me. Some friendly advice: Please don't make this much of a fool of yourself in public, you wont make it very far :-)

Touting your own wages makes you seem desperate to prove your a big man on campus and make big money. It's like a man touting his p***s size to make him feel good about himself. Low self confidence huh. It happens.

I never touted my own wages. Just the fact that some target workers make minimum wage. Hell if I made minimum wage I wouldn't know anything either and I would work at Target. Did you see what I did there??

I'm sorry you feel you would only be worth minimum wage at Target, that seems like a personal issue. I don't even think the cart boys are that low. But you really should just stop before you make yourself look any worse. And fyi, Target Mobile employees don't work for Target. You should probably know what you are talking about before you start acting cool online.

Any worse? This isn't real guy. This is a made up character on the interwebs. The rise I got out of you is what I was going for. Troll or not, I am laughing at you.

I doubt it, buddy of mine is a manager at a phone store and only makes bout 36k per year. 4xminimum wage would be 28-32 dollars an hour. So you would make more than most nurses and teachers.

I really appreciate what ZayZay is saying here. I work for a 3rd party Sprint dealer. That is all I do. Just Sprint. Not VZW, ATT, TMO, just Sprint. If you want to buy a Cadillac, and want the experts, you dont go to a Chevy used car lot, you go to the Cadillac Dealer. Ok so you have good prices. How about all the billing issues you create, improperly activating phone, if even activating them at all? Im sure there are a few good reps out there, but I would rather go to someone that know exactly what they are talking about. I could reiterate everything you need to know about Sprint, and the plans without ever having to touch a pamphlet. Customer experience almost always outweighs price...

"Spring Samsung Conquer, and Sprint Samsung Conquer" I don't think he meant to say Spring Samsung Conquer. At least he got it right the second time through.

FWIW, I have bought my devices for the family at Target and Shack and saved over $325, not too shaby! But if I have a question or an issue, I go to my local ATT store and yes, its a company owned store.
